I work for other people, not own company.
Not sales, but base should hit 10000 by next two years.
Got source say 5 digit can siam?

late 20s, local grad, media sales
Used to earn about 110 - 120k PA including comm + bonus during mid 20s

Last year accepted a "promotion" and converted to fixed pay to learn mid-level management
Basic now 76k pa
Bonus up to 65k pa cap but only managed to hit 47k due to bad economy last year and team missed target
76 + 47 = 123k but alot of risks! wondering if i made a mistake and whether it is worth it to give up steady comm to learn how to be management (read: extra work, manage a team, handle budget, responsible for almost everything and workload definitely doubled vs when was just handling sales!)

why should the government care for you? you mean everyone earning 10k should get free HDB and free Healthcare? DO YOU REALLY WANT A COMMUNIST AND WELFARE STATE?

I am in the same situation as you. I graduated from another discipline and am now in the early childhood education field. I am taking the Early childhood dip part time. I was offered 1.3k starting pay and in a year it was subsequently raised to 1.75k. Many of my classmates in the dip course are also getting around 1.1-1.2k. I suggest you look for other kindergarten/childcares who'll offer a higher pay. Ask for at least 1.6k, they should be willing to give if you have 5 Os and at least a B in EL. Good luck!
