50 year old, former financial professional.
Retired at 44 after a successful career.
Owns and lives in a paid up luxury condo.
Owns a paid up luxury continental car.

Grew up in a lower middle income family.
Did well in school and career.
Moved up the social and economic ladder.
Now a millionaire.

Besides managing my investments, I have now dedicated my time and energy to helping the poor and needy.

Since many people in this forum do happen to be bankers, I'd like to ask how one can go about acquiring internships in banking during the interim between ORD and University?

Pretty interested in the financial sector and would like to learn more about it before deciding it as a career.

Sorry if this is the wrong thread to be asking such questions!

We hope to retire at 55 yo. Our 3 bedder condominium unit, located in a good district, is paid up and we can retire in our condo. We will spend about $700k of our savings from age 55 to 65. At 65, we will get CPF Life payout which will be enough for our retirement.
