Private GP life in a large chain is good. Work with a few Drs together in a clinic not so lonely like locum. Have CME talks prepared for u. Just attend and don't have to worry about points. Even admin mundane work like recording vaccines in NIR can share with colleagues if cannot finish. Got time to surf forums.
Easy to take leave. Got hospitalisation leave and medical benefits.
Financially is adequate for me.

I wonder how does that make Drs feel? Grossly underpaid?
Other professions have increased their salary, hope Drs' pay go up too and nurses since we practically sacrifice our lives in the pandemic.

How will Healthier Sg affect OPS and GP pay?

Likely pay should go up since more work to GPs.

But OPS and even private groups like RMG are hiring many foreigners from Malaysia and India and Phillippines and even Myanmar. These foreign Drs are likely to have lower pay than locals and keeps our local Drs pay from rising too much.
Ceca affects almost all professions except politicians. I guess it is good to keep costs down but good only on the macro perspective. Bad on the micro perspective or individual level.

May I ask is it compulsory for all Drs to get the latest bivalent omicron covid vaccine or just last vaccination within one year is enough?
I had 4 Moderna jabs. Last in Aug 2022 but not yet the bivalent jab. Felt less keen to get it after news of the vaccination death came out.

As long as Singapore prospers and continues to be successful
So will property prices and COEs continue to rise.
Sure it seens bearable and manageable for those late 40s
But what about the teens who will start work in another 10 years?
Life is going to get harder and harder.
