I would dare say that Singapore's healthcare actually ranks at least one of the top 50 in the world.

Maybe I’m wrong but as far as I researched non invasive techniques and other procedures were quite advance and had a good learning program at the hospital.
That’s why I thought about Singapore.
It’s also learning different approaches and a different way of working.
They have an international Program post residency for critical care and pulmonary techniques, so I understand English speakers are welcomed.
Thank you.
If anyone has done this please let me know!

Also, I’m interested in applying for an external rotation during my residence that allows us to go abroad for 2 months. (I’m not applying for any exams)

Also, thoughts on covid vaccine? should i pass?
Covid vaccine is compulsory
No vaccine means anti science
Anti science cannot be a resident

Hi all, just want to ask about the status of foreign doctors in SG. Is still there foreign trained discrimination among doctors? What is the average salary for a resident in training doctor in SG? I’ve heard the country needs more doctor this year.

Unfortunately there is always discrimination

If you are white, there will be positive discrimination
If you are east Asians like koreans and jap, positive discrimination

If you are chinese is neutral or slightly negative
If you are indian slightly negative because of ceca
If you are middle Eastern with be slightly negative to negative.

If you are african black, will be neutral as we don't have much Africans, so be neutral

Yes every country "needs" and "wants" more doctors every single year. But none of those countries like to pay for those doctors. There is no discrimination in Singapore. It is multi racial and has zero racial discrimination. Harmonious multi ethnic society. Average salary for resident training doctor is about $100k a year.
