Honestly it feels like you're just looking for self-validation of a decision you already made. There were unbiased links others have posted before showing you the cost of living, salaries and standards of medicine and and other well meaning advice from genuine local practitioners living locally and abroad regarding practicing in Singapore.
If you ignore the overly positive salutatory remarks made by the foreign Indian doctors for whom English isn't their first language and Singapore is godsend compared to where they were originally from, then as a reasonably intelligent person you would be able to form your own conclusion.

Agree bro, there are too many pro-India trolls wanting to displace us Sinkie doctors from our jobs like what they did in local banking industry. And these are for jobs which can be done by a qualified sinkie if not for the applicant and hiring manager being from the same country. In all my years I haven't seen this level of powerful patriotism before with other foreign doctors and definitely not from a impartial sinkie. Our brilliant PAP government is aware but nothing much is being done.

Look buddy. I appreciate the advice, albeit a tad curt, but how does asking for recommendations to a physician recruiter translate to a search for self-validation?

You're creating dissonance among the community and expect to be treated nicely? Cry me a river.

Singaporeans have more recently become very anti-foreigner. While the government and management support hiring foreigners, on the ground the sentiment does not. However they do not have to courage to show it in the open.

Why do you think this is the case?
Is xenophobia prevalent even among Singapore physicians too?

What do you think?
Physicians are smart enough not to make such opinions public lest they be disciplined.
