Can I know what is the starting pay for fresh degree grad as engineer in DSTA in 2012
No- NS
1st class = ?
2nd upper = ?
2nd lower = ?
With NS
1st class = ?
2nd upper = ?
2nd lower = ?

Salary of EHS Engineer
I work in an aerospace company (formerly Goodrich Aerostructures, presently under United Tech) and I understand that the Environment, Health & Safety officer in my company commands around $8K. Although she has a Master's degree from NUS, I suspect that her high salary is attributed to the safety related certifications & licenses which she have attained over the years. In fact, such a pay scale is higher or equivalent to some of the managers already, not bad for a lady in her early 30s. Verdict? Study Environmental Engineering in NUS and specialise in this field.

Because its an aerospace industry mah, even ITE with LAE 'B' can hit 6k with a bit of overtime. Ya and I know someone is going to bash me and say that class B is for diplomas, class A for ITE. but actually same ****. So if you look in that way NUS master 8k not a lot more.

Profession: LAE
Age: Mid 30s
Monthly Gross: 7k to 10k( sleep in company)
Stress Level: High or close to mental breakdown ie scold people for no reason
Family Life: Inversely proportional to your pay

Basic around 3k. allowance 2k, OT ??? NO LIMIT
Pay is based on ops LAE not office bound LAE so pls don be misled thinking all LAEs are highly paid.....Some LAEs also put in Cold Storage doing nothing drawing just basic

u r right.
engin is ****.
but looks like u did ok, 5k after 6 years . i have paid my engineers 3k , they had 7 year exp. i hire during downturn. get lots of cheap engineers.
if u have kids, tell them its ok to do engin, because it trains one mentally. but don't go into engin line.
