Tbh I am still quite shocked. I know that Mayer Brown doesn't pay all too well in SG, but I would have thought that their international reputation is still not that bad. Dunno why they would partner up with a middling-ish firm (no offence intended to PK Wong and Nair).

It's not a "lil bit" lower... it's about 30% lower at the 2PQE SG level i.e. CC NQ.

Agreed. CC pays ~15.5k NQ (before any recent upward revision). Baker only pays 9.5k NQ. This 9.5k NQ cannot even compare to silver circle rates, which pay ~14k NQ.

CC NQ is BM 2 PQE, which is around 13-14k now. So the real difference is ~15%, not 30%.
