I have no stakes in this discussion, but there are any number of reasons why one would change firms, especially at a senior level where remunerations, partnership points and platform opportunities can present strong incentives. It is good to educate once self before making comments that showcase one's ignorance.

Based on information from LinkedIn, the top three companies which most of the alumni from the school that is in question are working in are MinterEllison, Ashurst, Allens. They seem to be big and good companies.

Since the companies in SG prefer our local grads, does this mean it would be harder to get into these firms in SG branch than if we were in Aus with the same degree? We are looking at Uni Melb or Uni Sydney.

A strange thing that I've noticed is, based on Linkedin, it looks like there aren't many Singapore law graduates from these two schools. I looked at Monash too and there were seemingly more law graduates from there

How are the outcomes of the Aus graduates in SG?

I do not think it is a ROI bearing path. The odds of securing employment in Australia as a foreigner does not seem high. If your only consideration is ROI, no.

Exactly. The head of disputes in baker mckenzie nandakumar ponniya was from white and case a MC. And the previous head he took over from was SC chan leng sun. The other partner celeste ang was the no 2 to indranee rajah sc on drew it seemed. I rest my case.
