Hi desperado. 1st thing u have to ask urself, wat is the pay tht wont make u feel not desperate.
2nd will you be sure you will have more saving after getting a high pay job? human nature since i got high pay, just spend n spend n spend. 3rd which line in the banking r u looking at does it suit u?
My take home is 1.5/mth and i still live happily. I have my bills to pay and a gf. Is just have to see how u manage ur pay. But anyway, if u r really interested in banking, just got ahead of ur interest.
ps: there is no free lunch in this world.

I'm ordinary at only 28 years old..
Then the mean pay of executives here should be S$10 - 12K.

Hey ZULU..
a consultant in a search firm. If it's a Good Establish firm like Robert Walters, MP, etc... they typically pay much higher. like S$3,500 and above with a great emphasis on commission.
Someone who hits good profits typically gets back more than 10-20k per month.
Of course, a single search assignment could take you months to complete.
GOOD LUCK in joining the recruitment industry.

WMF :
"Someone who hits good profits typically gets back more than 10-20k per month.
"
This is not true generally. Recruitment consultants dont even smell S$7K and above in gross. Mind you.. they cnt even get S$7K and above.. They are usually entry level or admin/data administration jobs they do.
Iam not disrespecting such professions, but the ugly truth is such.

I'm very intrigued at how a librarian can earn $4k a month, anyone care to share? Btw, are accountants in high demand in Singapore? Would like to know what is the starting pay of an entry level accountant with a cert in ACCA, no degree.
Good day to all. =)
