Standard Chartered International Graduate Program 2015

Hello everyone.

I did my online interview around 2 weeks ago. no reply from them (I had some technical difficulties but it was all fixed later on)

Today I received a 1 sentence email saying "thank you for your application to [position]" but nothing else (no rejection/acceptance)

did anyone else get this?

that's really odd. but in all likelihood, you might have been dinged and the email happened to be glitchy for some reason (somehow system didn't include the unfortunately, after consideration of your...xxx")

Does CCIB Client Coverage mean Investment Banking Division? Or is it closer to corporate banking?

They used to split the internship and IG roles into corporate finance, commercial banking and transaction banking but folded them all into CCIB Client Coverage recently. So investment banking (aka corporate finance) is a subset of CCIB Client Coverage. You may or may not rotate through investment banking but not sure if you actually get to choose, maybe you will have to do atleast 1 rotation there anyway as part of being in CCIB Client Coverage
