Hi current MA here. I can vouch for this and it ain’t good to treat MAs this way. HR blames MAs for the so called high attrition rate but have they ever thought back on how they treated us MAs? Being so top down and defensive all the time...threatening us by saying when we escalate issues HR gets a lot of noise at the back (btw if there is a lot of noise going around then something IS wrong right?)

May want to think twice.. don’t say the in-programme MAs didn’t warn you all before joining.

I'm a fellow MA and I feel that we are overpaid. Despite being in the most prestigious programme in the bank, I believe it is the value one brings to the company that warrants his/her pay. My day to day work involves heavy paperwork which requires thorough human checks that can be easily replaced and done cheaper and more efficiently by robots. The events we held are at times miserably expensive. We claim to make blah blah cost savings for the company but all we did was make the events grand at reasonable prices. And if you ask me what I do best at work, its got to be bootlicking my boss. I'm glad HR didn't cut my pay.

You sure you are from MAP and not GAP? Trying to sabotage? We MAP grads know you GAP grads are jealous of our starting pay . Always complaining about why our starting pay is higher. Sour grapes.

If what you are best in at work is bootlicking your boss it is no surprise that you feel that you are overpaid.

Let us meet at Janice 's office and trash this out. See for yourself if I'm from dbs MAP. I have gone to Janice''s office twice this week. I don't mind going to her office again with you. Set the date and time! I want to see who is this bootlicker who is either not from DBS or who is from GAP or
a non master MAP grad who scored a band 3 and yet still got the same increment as a band 1.

An applicant here. Be it unfair compensation, high attrition rate , lack of transparency or over paid bootlicker with mundane work that can be done by robots they are all negative comments about the programme.

Thank you current MAs for sharing. Will definitely take them into consideration if offered.

PS: Good to let your grievances be known to the management but be careful not to dig your own grave.
