I think it is fair to say that it largely depends on the industry. What is your occupation, #years of experience and remuneration?

business development (commercial mgmt, m&a, tender mgmt), 8 years, 99k. i know peers in the civil service getting in the 120s. what about u?

Rather unlikely any layman will earn 120kpa after 8 years of civil service. Are your peers all top-tier scholars?
I only know of my friend's husband who is probably earning thereabouts as a RSN Major/LTC; 10 years after he returned from Imperial College.

ok maybe i overstated a bit. something more like $6.3k x 16-17 months, non scholar.

Ah I see. How about a fresh graduate in offshore vessel company? In an offshore vessel company, which department/role should I set myself in order to have greater pay or better chance of climbing the corporate ladder?
