probation period, good or bad?
What does it mean when a company says it has 6 months probation period? Is this a bad or good thing? How would it affect me when there is a long probation period?

What is the pay and benefits during and after the probation?
Most of the time, answering that alone will give you your answer.
The other thing is to allow your new employer to look for "fit". This works both ways imo. Better to leave during your probation than overstay if you are sure it's not the place you want to be.
