From the title, will it be right to say its just getting people to open business accounts with the bank and not in touch with the products? Not a good learning ground in this case right?

Heard their target is 60 or more account acquisition a month, which i think its crazy

Yes team lead still gets comm. They manage the team's target and get a commission of the team's performance. Can earn up to 300K if they hit their targets every quarter well for SCB at least.
Ya sales team leader higher tank then RM usually VP level. But RM also got RM team leader so similar :P But RM base pay higher but commission lower.

SME banking. They can hit up to 6 figure commission per quarter if they do well. But that's assuming they hit/exceed the targets which are normally crazily high.

My colleague does the sales MIS and incentive tracking so its true, according to the incentive payout scheme.
But the targets to hit the max commission are very high and hardly any team hits it for consecutive 4 quarters a year.
