i hope all of u have just diplomas. because they don't recognise degree and will not be offering degree salary to you just because you have one. These 2 positions only require diploma.

Operation tech start on 3rd Sept. I think process tech is from chemical side but operation is for refinery

Other than those differences, are there any differences between the workload and salary/allowance wise?
Or are they the same thing only that they are called that as position for specific plant?

Think its the same position differentiated by the the different plants. I think all the requirements are the same? There is hardly or no difference for tt matter..

Hi all, can anyone briefly explain what does process tech DO in exxon? Repair the equipment? Hands on?

Open valve close valve. Do lots of hazop and risk assesment. Apply for safety permit to allow contractor to do work. Yeap wait and see. Sai kang ah basically.
