SIA Procurement Executive
Any idea what is the expected salary range for the above position?
Feel free to share other positions in SIA and their respective range.
Just want to have an idea how is the pay scheme like.

The AO grading back in 09. not sure if it's the same now:
Grade
1/1a/1b - exec
2a/2b - senior exec
3/4 - asst manager / deputy manager
expect a pay based on honours and ns. back in 05 i came in with 2.8k with 1st class and NS. not sure why SIA ranked so high on uni students most desirable companies to join list back then.
of course there are the free travel tickets and generous bonuses.

oh, and SIA is a co where titles still mean something, ie a manager is a real departmental manager with at least 2 more layers of reports.
it takes donkey years to progress to an AM (~5 years is considered quite high flying, known fact for many old timers to still be execs after ~10 years), so you will start feeling sorry for yourself once you start comparing with your friends in banking with a fancy AVP/VP titles a few years down the road.

Thanks for sharing.
What if I am not fresh...say about 4 years working experience...which level will I probably end up?
Just a bit unsure as I am AM right now...wondering does this application consider as a downgrade for me. Haha.
Not a fresh grad but still have to take essay writing test during interview nia.
So stringent.

It's been ages since I write an essay.
Any idea what kind of topics do they give?

for SIAEC
senior about 4k.
Asst manager about 4.5-5k.
bonus is below market rate for aviation 1.5-2mths. quite bad compared to other aviation companies like pratt and RR but other benefits are good and very stable job.
but note the long notice period. makes it hard to find job when you wanna move on.
