I am the OP of this post. After close to 6 weeks plus since my last interview, I was given a verbal offer today. I am glad i reject the private offer. So guys, dont give up hope. Govt agencies need time, if say processing your application, the chances are 80% high unless you fail the referral/security checks.

You waited 6 week for interview result and HR didn't give you a call whether they interested to hire you? Which min/sb?

I asked one month after my interview, HR reply was still processing my application and to give them time. And i didn't ask anymore as government agencies check tend to take very long, especially if you are sent for cat 1 clearance. Mine is a cat 1 clearance if you are curious

Hi, anyone completed their interviews with CSC before?

How many rounds of interview are there?

Is the salary attractive for a executive role?

Whats the culture like? Hows the progression?

Btw how you know yours is cat1 and can share which min/sb?

I was notified by the HR it is a cat 1 clearance and hence they need more time. In addition, mine is a transfer maybe that is why so long.

Icic, thanks for responding.
My wait is longer, been waiting for 7 weeks already.
I now in private sector, still have a job so can wait.
But hmm.. maybe its time to ask HR is mine cat 1 clearance, why so long.

Have your referror told you that he/she had been contacted for referral check? They will definitely have to contact him/her for referral check should they want you as this is what happened to me when i first enter civil service. Not sure will HR tell you is cat 1 not but no harm asking i guess? Otherwise you can drop email to HR to check on progress.

No, as of today none of them being contacted.
However, HR did update me at the one month mark they still processing and ask for time.

I intend to check with them in a week or 2.

This is the 9th week after my last interview, still waiting
