+71 day, hr call ask salary expectation then email for payslip and G50
+90 day, hr call tell indicative salary subject to approval

After my 2nd interview, the same day itself, hr called to follow up on my application. She had asked me to fill up long particulars form, salary details, past payslips and bonus.

She also said that the application is currently being processed internally. May I know if this is a positive sign?

no, seems negative that's why they want to go through so much trouble for you and themselves. Such qns really waste ppl time. If ppl say positive you can sleep better? Wait for official approval lah hype yourself for what. Anytime can uturn even if are the best of the best of the best of the best.

Long particulars form - is it Personal Particulars form? If it is, it’s known as G50 for high security clearance. It is a positive sign but all can confirm if you’re cleared at this part usually takes abt 3-4 months. if its earlier, u are damn lucky. Aft this stage then they can make a provisional offer like salary. So by then you can know if its a match or a pay cut. You can also ask about the salary range at this stage.

Usually they will engage or update u few wks one time to let you know they are still processing & interested to hire you. So if u are not in a hurry to work can just wait or else it’s up for you to decide to wait or not for the clearance outcome.

Does anyone know how long does it take for ministry A to process a clearance for a person from another ministry B? I have cleared G50 before.

25M, diploma holder with NS.

Just accepted a $3.5k CS offer in a role aligned with my passion. With bonuses, it works out to about $4.3k/month.

Previously earned $3.8k at a local SME, no bonus.

Did I make a mistake taking a $300 pay cut early in my career?

Yes it is the Personal Particulars Form. Hr also mentioned to wait 1-3mths time.
