I have taken up the offer already. Frankly, my industry typically doesn't pay high salary so it can't be compared to what other professionals are earning for the same level and experience. I have already resigned to this fact, so I just have to continue to leave a simple lifestyle and I think 3.5k should be sufficient to get by at this time. I am still single but i am planning to get married in a couple of years time. Many of my peers in the same industry with the same level of experience as me are earning 2plus to 3k only, btw.
Of course when I gain more experience in teaching, I will seek out greener pastures if my salary doesn't improve over time. But as for now, I'll just have to make do with this. Thanks everyone, for your views and feedback.

Good luck Ecce, not everybody is meant to be earning obscene amount of money or become a high flying banker.
Sometimes, we just have to make a move in the direction that we believe in what is true to us and try our best, everything else leave it to fate.

Is it from poly....its not just a pay that u have to look.look at the benefits n whether is it a contract basis.though i love to teach n have passion to educate,i have to be practical in life.so be practical.if u need the job, just right email for counter offer.if they are not able, then accept the offer.at least u are secured with a job.
