Big mistake to come here. The hours are probably just as bad but the pay nowhere near justifies the workload. If you are looking for better work-life boundaries, teaching is just not it.

Teaching face to face is of course more effective.
The problem is, since teachers are already in school for that, school leaders decide "we might as well do everything else face to face".
Which includes long, boring, mind-crushing meetings.

Teachers need to find a way to manage your own workload. if the management is not helping, devise your own way to work smart, devise your own short cuts and hacks.
