It really depends on your disposition. A Primary School teacher will need to be way more caring and patient. You need to spend more time to monitor their welfare and do duties such as recess duties and playground monitoring duties.
T&L is usually not an issue. In fact, preparation of lessons would be much easier. But it does not mean that you spend lesser hours in school. Because most of the time, hours are spent on phone calls to parents and marking their day’s work so as to return their books to them on the next day for T&L.
Most importantly, consider what you really like before you jump. It’s true that once you go to primary school, it’s difficult to return to secondary school.

From my knowledge, you will still get pb. Just that you will not be promoted that year and unlikely the next too. Must show sustained improvement then can qualify for promotion. (Anw, not easy to get promotion in general for ppl with ‘C’s too)
However, the real issue is with a C-, you are unlikely to be successful in open posting as most SLs & HQ would not want to take in ppl with C-.

Bonus is much lower. No promotion for at least the next 3 years.. If you are thinking of applying for PDL and etc. You won't get it cos minimumly needs at least a C to be eligible, this is not being about successful yet.

How often do you see people getting an A grade? How much is the PB and are there any difference in promotion after getting one?

Hope you see this. Everyone I know who did cross level... actually regretted. I think that itself is quite a warning for everyone who is considering cross level. And I’m talking about teachers from KP level to just a BT. it’s too much of a culture shock for them.
