Don't waste your time. You won't get in. Trust me. Stick to your public sector job. Don't fantasize earning big bucks. Impossible to get in especially for locals. Many foreign shops bring in their own people.

Sorry for dragging up an old thread
Anyone any tips for breaking into finance sector? Been following many forum threads and also looking at e financial careers and LinkedIn, with many job apps sent out, but it’s been v quiet
Am a local acc degree holder, studying for CFA exams, in an unrelated industry 2 yr work exp
Anyone any tips?
