Back in 2011, 6k for a fresh manager (after working for 5 years) and 8k for a senior manager (additional 3 years) is a very solid package.

But to my knowledge, the 6k number remained stagnant without significant change until 2022.

11 years of inflation...
yup big4 dun raise ur pay.
It was until recent that they totally lacked of manpower and no choice but to bump it up to 3.6k starting.
the pay of 3.6k is just good enough to attract all the msians.

Maybe a bump will come soon to 4k to attract uni grads.
hahaha

Was 6k a good pay in 2011?

I guess not bad? Were those the $2 chicken rice days?

Lol the "pay raise" you get is from having deducted bonus. Overall package is same/lower.

Associates are either SPass (rare) or mostly locals these days. Even managers cannot qualify for EP.

6k is great in 2011 because chicken rice is $2.

Please just do a CS degree or be a sales person.

haha yep pwc's first years don't get any bonus because the base was increased to 3.6k... stupid joke. even rando sme MA program pays more than that and you can go home on time.

I hope that guy trolling, cause 3600 *12/14 = 3,085

That’s 3.1k given a normal 13th month plus one months PB

You need to compare apples to apples.

I'm already a senior with >2 years experience. It's too late for me to switch away from accounting into tech or MA programs sadly as they don't accept people with >2 years working experience. Feeling so lost and stuck.
