i think most of us would have done that if not for financial reasons. the only ones in my batch who found jobs had to take a paycut or switch to non-accounting-based jobs like sales or IT.

Most people avoid dating auditors/accountants.
They know male accountants are stingy boring nerds with no hobbies.
Females even worse. They know female accountants love to nitpick, micromanage and are boring, calculative and unforgiving

Thoughts on taking an MBA to pivot away from audit?
Quit, take Insead, NTU or NUS, then join management consulting.
Thoughts? Would also love to hear if people have done this successfully.

I got two MC offers without MBA 2 years ago. Your issue will be the consulting market is in the dumps as job offers are really more dependent on how many people they are hiring, some firms are completely not hiring and are firing. Also, you need compelling side projects.
