Despite that being said, I think it is fair to have feedback or complaints about how a firm does things. And honestly, there are a lot of things that can be changed about Big4. Even if we don't talk about the hours, pay or lack of coaching/guidance, some of the simple thing such as putting in a reasonable bid for engagements or allowing the team to book all hours into timesheet should be practised.

Booking hours don't even cause the firm or clients extra money. It just show how silly the SM / partner is when drafting the fees, budget and audit scope.
This is the kind of leaders we need. Not some talk about "we understand everyone is different ... blah blah blah" and only do things in 1 way to present those sub par nonsense.

Default Big 4 career path

So I am graduating and after reading the posts, i have consolidated the following:
First 3 years to go pwc/deloitte as they have the better welfare for juniors
After that move to Kpmg for the 20% pay rise
Lastly i move to EY as their SM really chill and shaking legs. Also have the highest chance to become partner. Am i correct?
