cant speak for other operating unit but in mine, alot of seniors & managers are poached by industry. mgmt is hiring an army of msians to replace the leavers but all stuck cannot enter sg so teams are badly understaffed. those who previously had no plan to leave are leaving as well. its a cascading effect

I guess over reliance on foreign manpower + unwillingness to buffer extra staff because scared of poor utilisation causing major staffing issues

Next partner promotions are May-July right. Heard there is an interview process. Im excited as I'm on the partner programme but I havent been told when I'll make partner

I doubt so , but any partners here can shed light on this?

Actually what Im looking forward to most on making partner is the 300-500k salaries . I dont even have to hunt for new clients , they're generally all existing clients. Partners no longer bring in business but just manage a portfolio of existing clients

Serious? 300-500K is so low. Why is making partner like some big deal? Not even worthwhile.
