Don’t think it works that way… otherwise might as well take 365 days leave and get paid for free?
More likely.. you need to finish all your assigned tasks. Then you can go on leave.

A better question is, what if you cannot finish your work and end up working everyday whole year long.
Then you don’t even have “I need to clear leave” as an excuse to get away.
Isn’t that worse off?

Doubt you will get approved to go on long leave if your work is not done.
If it’s done, and your boss approves, why not
No need to tell them you have plans to leave after coming back

KPMG no audit director role? I see linkedin so many hentak kaki at SM level while other big 4 promote to director role. Maybe this is why KPMG offer 20% salary increment.
