Maybe, except for the rent, our expenses may be higher than theirs. Do they have to pay loans on houses like we do? Housing in Singapore is not that affordable as well. Some of us also have an education loan of $30k SGD.

You're local or foreigner? How did you end up with 30k debt by graduation when there's so many scholarships and bursaries? If you're buying condos then of course it won't be affordable, HDB monthly instalment is cheap af even on fresh grad salary.
