Damn amusing how two posters are bragging about 10k and 13k in 20 years when these days we can achieve that in 5-6 years.

Build your skills and niche, know the right people and with enough luck, you can make it anywhere.

Take the position that forces you to grow.

Lol reading some of the boomer comments in this thread quite hilarious. Talk one long story to brag about how they took 20 years to achieve 10k-13k (quite low tbh)

And to a boomer, Company pay high starting salary - “Sure not!? They’ll work you to death…even high salary can be readjusted”

Company pay low starting salary - “Aiya fresh grad no skill no experience cannot expect so much”

Typical boomers…finding fault in everything. Mediocore mindset.

Right skills, connection, luck and growth are important. It depends on which stage of life you are in also and whether you are lucky to have all factors working for you.

Different generations have different minsets & challenges.

Just be kind and humble. You never know when you will need the help of a person who you looked down upon.
