I don't think so, i think you just need to pass your medical check up and referee check? HR and my current supervisor did contacted my ex-employer to ask about me. At least for my case, when I got the verbal offer, I started work in less than a months time.

Not sure how it is since I left 2 years back but when I first joined a data research department back in 2018, starting pay for execs was about 3.4-3.6k. Confirmed this with my colleagues who were mostly local grads ( NUS/ NTU). Not sure if they pay differently based on Uni honours but pretty sure this range was pretty much standard across Singhealth. Pay tbh is lower than market rate (even the HR told me so), but I was there largely for the learning experience.
For those who want to know more:
Increment can be like ~5-10% average depending on the economy and announcement of the budget, but average usually 5-7%. Bonus typically includes 1 mth AWS, while performance bonuses usually ranges from 2/2.5/3 months for performance grades B/A/A* - I’m aware this can differ across departments but this is what I know for mine. Standard is B grade as long as you have a decent work attitude and no major screw ups. Overall a decent place to start your career and colleagues are generally ok, even though there can be some toxicity here and there but don’t let it affect you.
