Passed a written test and did an interview, status on CG is shortlisted but its been almost 2 months since my interview and still no news. Status also not updated so I don't think they really update the status. Try calling HR and ask

Hi just wondering anyone got offer from LTA roles? also do you know if gov jobs are mostly all start with contract first for fresh hires?

Hi sadly no. I wanted to but I forgot and now it seems weird to call after so long. I just assumed its no chance. Also because I got emailed another written test for a diff department and one of the HR cc-ed in the email was the one who arranged my previous interview. I saw another poster in the same situation and he/she also didn't seem to get the first job so I guess its no hope.

I applied a few LTA roles. All rejected with no interview lol

I’m working in a stat board right now and my application status at C@G still indicates In Review. Hah, it depends whether HR is on the ball or not.

COE bidding suspended, ERP suspended, bus and mrt frequencies reduced, trpt minister still costs $1mil, so new hires not a priority.

Rather than sit at home and wait for the stars to fall, suggest to take any of the sai kang jobs in the booming covid sectors, supermarket and healthcare. Many ads urgently need supermarket x 100, fw dorm assistant x 100

more than half of the interviews I went never send me rejection mail if i was rejected, usually private sectors.

for gov sector usually you get a system generated rejection mail.
