Actually, the real shag is knowing that your BB IB/markets frens are getting paid 2x your salary while you still work the same shitty hours as them. In fact lets not even talk about BB, EBs also can pay much better than 5.8k. Even smaller banks like BNP, SMBC can pay ~1.5x the salary. But such is life, you dont always get the best of everything.

Can get in any of the bank first then talk. Remember, unless you are CECA, you only have an outside chance. Esp Std Chart abd most of the european and american banks
