hello, i asked this in the other thread but the people there were super preoccupied with flinging **** at each other so i thought it would be more productive to ask this here.

hi friends thoughts about imda aim? heard a lot about this programme and my friends themselves have applied for it. is it direct hire or do your career progression really get accelerated? will you just be a farmer? some genuine replies from people with firsthand experience would really help me and other people out immensely.

It's considered a perm role, I'd say you're ranked slightly higher than normal farmers but still lower than scholars. Career progression is only accelerated in the first year or two (basically when you're still in the prog). No guarantees past that.

i see...tbh, heard a lot of things about the culture but the job itself seems okay and a great starting one. very hard to sift through all the negativity on glassdoor and here to find anything remotly helpful

I've done my final round interview a week ago but no reply yet. My friend who done it in March got a verbal offer and HR gave him a form to fill in alr. they been starting AIM interviews since early feb. What i know is that the official prog start date is first week july
