Some info about me:
- Local CS FCH
- President of a engineering club
- Won 2 hackatons and won a conference paper award
Many with similar credentials applying!

Are you seriously considering writing in to appeal a job rejection? You just wernt good enough for the position, suck it up and move on.

No point appealing, TAP's very selective. If you still wanna work for GovTech can consider their fresh grad positions! Check out their careers website

Is it possible to take up fresh grad position first and reapply as TAP next year?

Usually, TAP comes in as Grade E and for info, the grade F range is only 5-7k, so I think 70-90k is more realistic

so Dream on... as I don think there is another range just for TAP, if there is, more turnover will happen... in the past 2 years, GT have high turnover and then junior grade cannot keep up or take over the G/H.

there's a post talking about it..

not the previous replier..

but you may look at the link that guy replied..

but usually, Fresh Grad comes in as D/E if you are Tap.
Grade D,E,F = Associate Engineer
Grade G & H = Engineer
Grade I = Senior Engineer
Grade J = Lead/Executive Engineer

D-F can achieve within 2-5 years, as TAP comes in as E
G & H are the mainstays of GT, can achieve within 2-3 years from F
I & J is RO(Boss) grade can achieve witin 4 - 10 years

but YMMV
