hello i am in one of the local bank back office, close to 5 years of relevant working exp, currently base 6k p.m. and just got 2-3 months bonus. Am I under or over paid?

Associates at law firms - even the big 4 - don’t actually earn $10k. When the 2-3 PQE tell you amounts that sound big eg $8k, $9k, those amounts are front loaded with bonus.
If you do your math, their non front loaded salary and the all in total comp is similar to their peers in banking (certain parts la, not saying all parts of banking)

these are all 0-2 years of experience people
