Factual Local Bank Salaries - DBS , UOB , OCBC (A commoner climbing up the ranks)

If you want a serious answer at least ask your qns seriously, how u want people to give u floor if you don't even let us know your role. Are you front or back office? Were you from international bank b4?

How junior is AVP5 in OCBC? Currently holding AVP in DBS

Compliance. UOB VP2 or OCBC VP3 floor. I think jumping it from a local bank, foreign bank or MAS doesn’t make alot of diff. Is how much was your last drawn. U can work in local bank but higher last drawn coz u keep hopping every 2 years. Keen to know what is the floor of UOB vp2 and ocbc vp3.

Anybody in HSBC? How's annual bonus like? 1-2 months?

Previously in hsbc compliance. Bonus can range from 1 month to slightly more than 2 at least at the vp level. Every 6 months they sack ppl. After the monitorship ended, they squeeze the control functions and hire lots of wealth managers. But what I know is after a lot of ppl quit and sack, they began to promote more ppl. So maybe times have change.

Thanks for the info. Looks like HSBC bonus is really very 'conservative'; better to expect 1 month aka 13th month.

but still no call received this week

how long have you guy wait from last interview to offer?

my last interview with hr was 20/7

If compare long term benefits, maybe.
But base pay will jump if take up the offer

Also heard the bonus from OCBC is not as good as DBS. Anyone can confirm?
