Feeling super lost
Hi all,
I am here to seek legitimate career advice. Recently, I have left an insurance company as a direct sales staff (due to various reasons) and am looking into FA firms for more exposure.
However, upon reading comments here and there and have some discussions with my mates, I feel like joining the bank as frontliner might be a better direction for me currently, despite I heard a lot of stories about toxic management.
I want to ask the bank frontliners here if banks really provide lots of leads for the staff to engage, and will push you to hit your target?
Or should I enter another industry, despite me being early 30s, having no experience in digital marketing even though I have the bachelors' cert? No experience in other industries either, have been doing back end in financial industry either as part timer or contract staff.
Will appreciate genuine advice and guidance. Thanks in advance!

In terms of leads, banks may provide frontliners with some leads to engage with, but the amount can vary depending on the bank and the specific role. Some banks may have more structured sales processes that involve setting targets for frontliners to meet, while others may have a more relaxed approach.

I have heard from one of my friend who works in a local bank, stating they only provide 10 leads per day or so, and couldn't request for more leads as it will be stepping on senior's toes. Which bank is the one that may provide more leads, and which bank is the one that may have a more relaxed approach? Any dailous have any idea?

Even if the bank could provide leads, why would they hire you in the first place? What is yr value? Might as well employ those outsourced contractors or telemarketers to close the leads. Your value to the bank is if you have alot of self source leads. Then you stand a chance to get hired.
