Just check 2022 CPF yearly statement for me and wife

We achieved 1.5M 51 with two paid up private properties using mostly cash

Looking forward to our retirement in 4 years time.

Life is good.

30, Female. $101k in OA and $84k in SA. Around $400k in savings and investments. Have yet to buy a place and not looking forward to it given today's housing market :`)

It took many years of living frugally and saving >70% of what I earn to have this much. I feel content with what I have now. Still trying to find the balance between saving up and living fully.

Management consulting. Taxable income including bonus just exceeded 100k two years ago. Really can't complain about the pay but work life balance can be improved.

Very good achievement considered relatively young age.

Should be on track to hit that CPF million dollar mark by 50

Good job. Male in my 30s, similar to you too. But you're definitely faster probably due to your high income. I got slowed down by NS. Also having some paper losses for investments due to the horrible 2022 market. Haven't bought any property yet either.

You can prepare to apply and buy with bf liao. Don't wait too long in case both of you exceed income ceiling

Just curious though, did you top up your SA?

I transferred quite a bit from OA to SA. Without a mortgage to pay in the near term, it just doesn't feel like keeping so much in the OA is necessary.
