Default No support from HR top levels. High turnover as a result.

HR group is a mess. No ownership of each member's development and needs. Performance appraisal was done ridiculously. Your hard work is not recognized if you are on the quieter side. You need to be vocal to get the attention.

Dont expect too much ah. Limit your expectations, I'm guessing 3-6% increment excluding the rebase.

Tbh it's only in Singapore where our tech companies pay peanuts during yearly increments.

I don't get it. Some foreign banks in SG have 10% increments... wtf? Our tech salaries are the highest compared to other industries yet we get like 2-7% annual increments.

No wonder people job hop after 1-2 years lol, staying at the same company for more than 2 years is career suicide unless you work for Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc.

Dk lah see how ah hor now we just guess here guess there, Apr and May then we'll know for sure. TBH should only stay 2 years then jump liao, cos if not on avg you'll earn less if you stay longer. When you're in FAANG it's less about compensation and more about fulfilment liao, avg tenure for google swe is 3 years, if it's so good there, why is this the case? People want more than money nowadays.
