Can only say its not SVC. HR rep only asked for my expected compensation during first phone interview, as well as before offer is made. Nowhere was I asked to provide payslip.
If HR really researched the payscale for the jobs using payslip, I would definitely be laughing my ass out literally. IRAS exists and if it fails, just purchase datasets from recruitment agencies who release yearly reports.

Ya loh, as a fresh grad hire I feel that the pay is really decent. First-year already can reach 6 digits annual total compensation.
