I got offered a role in LTA. Grade LTEG9, which converts to MX11 on the MX scheme. Pay offered is $6.2k, and based on 16-month package.

I'm in mid-30s with 12 YOE (most of it has been in public service). Do you think I should negotiate for more?

Don't be so greedy. what you get is already consider alot as not many people at your age got 6k+

LTA don’t allow for negotiation. Take it or leave it. HR don’t care whether the position is filled up or not.

How much does LTA offer for engineering fresh graduate second lower honours without NS?

whats the different between MX and LTE grade? fresh grad here. i keep seeing a lot of MX scheme all around this forum.

Likely you may get stuck at that grade for quite some time. 6.2k is kinda on the lower end of the pay range for G9. But also means not hitting pay ceiling anytime soon.
