This is the department headed by the infamous adrian ong. He has abused many staff throughout the years and while his staff have all left one after another, he is still here and HR did not do anything to him at all.

Don't even bother attending the interview, let alone join this department. You can read the previous pages to find out more.

It is utterly embarrassing working for IMDA. Highly toxic work culture aside, this organisation downright bullies industry players they claim to advance the interests of. Have been here for only half a year but that is too long. Please don't make the same mistake as me. Looking to tender in a couple of months as I have another opportunity lined up.

Took the same lift as DCE kiren and nodded my head to greet him. Guess what, he totally ignored me as if I'm transparent!

Dear kiren kumar, just because people are lower rank than you doesn't mean you can have a stuck up attitude. I wish DITG all the worst...

There should be a DCE Aileen for CE campaign. Yep, I'm a DCE Aileen fangirl (and I don't even work in IMDA)...sure she handles only infra and regs, but here's someone who knows her stuff and would definitely *never* ignore you in the lift regardless of title.

You have better options outside.

Many comments on this forum on abuse. It's also a poor performing dept that does WSG kind of work. The "training" you get will set you back when you go into the real world.

Second this. It's not that terrible, to the extent you will get filtered out just because you worked in IMDA. It's lousy agency, not a prison term. Even if it's a prison term, there's Yellow Ribbon, ok?

But IMDA is the butt of most jokes in the tech industry, no doubt about that.

The toxic work culture there is unprecedented in public service. How to expect IMDA to work with other gov agencies when its own departments don't even want to work with one another.
