A lot of politics, not so much within divisions, but between divisions.

Those who are inside will know that current staff of 200+ people is doing 400+ headcount estab work.

CSP scheme is not competitive, though they try to tag it to Govtech tech scheme.

Typical stable government job, but the pay is not worth the work put in.

Thank you for your insights!

Still considering if should accept position as I want the stability of gov job but need to make it a point to leave work on time (7pm) max.

Some days, but really depends on your role.

Also, since all of us are issued a government laptop, it's perfectly fine to go home at 6 plus since you can bring your laptop home to continue if you have work left to do.

Is the organisation particular about what time you come in and track your every movement? Or are they generally quite flexible?

It's always boils down to the reporting boss isnt it. Organisation policies aside, we have always seen that people always stay or leave because of their immediate bosses :P

Depends on your level and division. By level, i mean that the higher your title, the earlier you get to go home.
