I can't imagine why on earth your doubts would matter to the poster.

We are in the same age group but our net worth is modest. We live in a condo too and still paying loan. Our combined net worth only $1.5m. Not much. When we retire, we will sell our 3 bedroom condo and buy a one bedroom condo.

Congratz! You have achieved financial freedom at such a young age. Many of us here at your age are still running the stupid rat race, having to wake up early in the morning to report to some younger smart alec boss. I think you must feel great without anyone to report to.

I have a few more years to retire. I think I will also need to downgrade to enable me and my wife to cash out. We are planning to sell our current condo and move to a smaller one after our kids got married and move to their BTO. I will then have about $2m cash to invest in stocks to provide us with $90k pa dividends. This is more than enough for us.

Middle class couple working in pte sector. Shared asset is our 5 room HDB flat worth $800k (central location). No more loan. Our other assets are cash and CPF funds. No other investments. My wife, 43, net worth is $600k. My net worth, 49, is $700k. We have two kids in secondary school.

Anyone in our age group in this forum? How is your net worth? We feel we are just average.

Average net worth per adult in Singapore is $352,000. So, you and your wife's net worth is more than average. Well done.
