Staying in SPF or join another govt SM role with higher remuneration package
At mid career near to 40s in spf , should I leave the force and take up a Senior manager role ? To deal with security, day to day operations, vendor management, security audits. Develop security plans and awareness. Oversee emergency plans. Act as business partner for units, investigation, operations, staffing up security measures. Able to match expected pay of $10k.
No push factor to leave but thinking of transferable skills. Stay in the force eventually will hit the 10k salary mark but whether can last long enough. Still likes bulk of the spf work but the offer is tempting.
