some of the posts here are really funny. make me laugh till the sides of my tummy hurt.
lets examine the year-end bonus paid out to civil servants since 2012.
2012 (GDP estimated at 1.5%)
Non-Pensionable Annual Allowance (NPAA) of 1 month + 0.7 month
2013 (GDP estimated between 3.5 - 4%)
NPAA of 1 month + 1.1 months
2014 (GDP estimated at 3%)
NPAA of 1 month + 0.8 month
2015 (GDP estimated at 2%)
NPAA of 1 month + 0.65 month
2016 (GDP estimated between 1 - 1.5%)
NPAA of 1 month + 0.5 month
Now let's look at our quarterly GDP for 2017
Q1 +2.5%
Q2 +2.9%
Q3 + 5.2%
Q4 > anyone's guess
Even if the Q4 growth is a conservative 2%, whole year GDP will be at least +3% which will be almost similar to 2014's GDP where the year-end bonus payout was 1 month + 0.8 month. Anything more than 0.8 month would be welcomed but if the payout is less than 0.8 month, I'm sure most civil servants would be a little disappointed. I saw someone mentioned about a Growth Bonus. That only comes into play if the GDP for the year is +5% or better.
Announcement should be made soon. For the past 3 years, year-end bonus announcement was always made on 25 Nov.

Nonsense. Last time when there was growth bonus in 2007, our economy growth was estimated to grow by 7.5-8%. In short, don't anyhow spread.
