Which part of Compliance has the best prospect and why?
1) Sanctions
2) Advisory
2) Transaction Monitoring
3) CDD/ KYC

I think the main thing is to like and be good in the area you are in. There are challenges in each area of work. I have been in KYC for close to 4 years and been exposed to diverse areas within this space. This include handling auditors/regulators, being in a checker role and also drafted KYC policies. I have also have some knowledge on sanctions and a bit of advisory for KYC.

wait till trump deregulate us banking industry, whole world will follow suit in order to stay competitive
compliance no longer hot job anymore

Yes they arent very good. I seem to be having trouble trying to get a perm job at banks. Even with about 8 months experience and a degree, i keep getting rejected. How can I get a per job?

You got to be careful. You only have 8 months, it is not significant. Why did you leave after 8 months?
Banks are cutting costs on these functions ever before. Headcount are normally given to more senior roles as they need people with solid expertise. Junior roles are not granted many headcounts and are forced to work within budget, thus the reason for many contracts.
