Ahm... I would rather not. It's a small industry out there and quite easy to tell which firm and who with designation, but basically I am doing fund accounting.
I started off at 3k in a local firm finance department as well.

I personally find the books I'm doing now much simpler compared to my ex-company, but then we are only managing a small cap REIT so maybe those BB like the Blackrock or Fidelity is much harder.
In terms of special skills I don't have much beyond the standard ACCA and 4 years of exp in corporate finance in a listed local firm.

Actually your salary sounds about right for a fund accountant in a boutique firm and it's quite decent. Your bonus is still better than many accountants in other industries who typically receive 0-1 month bonus. How did you break into corporate finance in the first place though? Did you have a degree?

Hi there, yes SIM-UOL degree. I don't think you really need any special skills to break into corporate finance beyond a business degree esp. my first job is with a local company.
As for bonus I think it's a bit low compared to AM industry but higher than some lower paid industries outside. This firm also quite conservative in salary progression and from what I see gives quite standard 5% increase every year unless got promotion, so those who are more ambitious usually don't stay long.
