is it difficult for a fresh ntu/nus male grad to join stat boards/civil service at age 29-30?

I intend to fly with SIA as cabin crew for 2-3 years after graduation from uni. by the time i join civil service will be about 29years old. Will it be difficult to be hired?

At age 29-30, one is hardly a spring chicken. It will be easier for a real fresh grad to get hired than you by then. If you were a HR personnel in a stat board/ministry, would you hire someone like that with Singapore flyer skillsets?

Dun blame it on the NS. Dun take NS for granted lah. Without NS, we may have been "raped" countless times by our unfriendly neighbours. For most of the guys, NS has toughen us up in many ways. There are also too many of us who still earn a very decent living despite the "NS liability". Only you can screw up your own life.

That's right. One can also take the initiative to make full use of his time during NS, like taking up courses or a 3rd language during the 2 years to improve himself. Don't blame NS or blame the govt for everything.

Exactly. Only the weak attribute their failure to external factors because they are too embarrassed to face up to their own weakness.
