No, I'm already in my 6th year.
I still find it amusing that the increase is less than when I got a C.

You're not the only one! This is similar to my case as well. I wonder if it has something to do with the bad economy, and the budget ring-fenced is thus smaller.

Thought to share. Coming to third year. B grade. MI of about 10% (no promotion).

don't just compare monthly salary. compare the annual package. which grade are you offered? generally it's 12 + 1++ month year end bonus + 0.25 to 0.5 July mid year bonus + performance bonus. The months of the 2nd and 3rd bonuses are all published in MSM. PB is supposed to be confidential but you can check the PB thread.

The offered grade is under the new scheme, me8. I think it is diff from the current ones.

Am i correct to say there are 2 category of bonues, the mid+year end & performance? The year end bonus you're referring to is not aws right?

Have always been in the pte sector. Thinking public sector should have more stability and see if have opportunity to progress

FCH from local uni. Non-Scholar.

Quite similar to me, also FCH, local, non-scholar. But I am getting slightly lesser.

Im currently in a statboard, my grades for the past years as below.
Grad with second lower honours from NTU, in 2013 july.

2014- mx12- 4/8 (default grade) pay 3.8k
2015- mx12- 5/8 (got a promotion within the grade) pay 4.2k
2016-mx11-6/8 pay 4.9k
2017-mx11-4/8 (default grade after getting a promotion) pay 5.2k

Am going for selection for singapore prisons soon. Do uniformed services match pay or am I gonna get a pay cut?
Not sure if its wise to join uniformed services, lower rank than peers, potentially lower pay also?

Can anyone advise?
